February 21-25

Folks, I’ll be on vacation this coming week. As you maybe can tell, I try to respond to all comments, but next week that might be tough. I do have 2 posts scheduled for this coming week. Both of them will finish up the visit with Four Roses. There’s been a lot of fun activity on the site this past week because of the in depth look at Four Roses. I hope you enjoyed the information on their distillery and the philosophies behind the brand.

When I get back the following week, we will hit the reviews hard. I’ve been slacking a bit on that front, and it’s time to kick it in gear. We’ll start with a number of comparison reviews. Many have asked about Beam products, so we’ll be doing a side by side of a couple of their more prominent products. In addition, I’ve got a pretty cool (i think) $50 small batch bourbon face off in the works. It includes the very bourbon that started the single barrel craze.

Looking forward to more great reviews. I also picked up some Four Roses Small Batch today. All the Four Roses articles made me anxious to try them.

Enjoy your vacation Jason!! Hoping to see Rock Hill Farms vs Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit down the road sometime.

  3. Joe, that is the plan on that single barrel tasting. Along with a 3rd one. Can’t wait to try them out together. Getting started on round one with the Knob Creeks today.

Have a safe journey on your vacation, and enjoy the time with family. When you return, I’ll be waiting for the rest of the 4R videos and postings you have .
I love all things 4R. Picked up 2010 4R SmBatch LE at Binney’s when we were in Chi town last Saturday. Plus a standard SmBatch, and a extra SB for the bunker.
    Stay safe.

    Enjoy your vacation Jason…

Looking forward to your reviews once you’re back.

  8. I am playing golf (badly) in Bandon Dunes (Oregon Coast). It’s been great fun. But I have been beaten into submission.
